Yes, frames 1--2 are a true story I heard.  Enjoy your education.

Note that my TAs have been great (overall), but I hear things from
others...

- My TA took off points on my lab report for writing "colour" instead
  of "color."
- You really should complain about that.
- Complaining is only for when you have reasonable people to discuss
  with.
